UMAMI is a creative studio specializing in the intersection of food, art and design.
We produce EXPERIENCES, curate CONTENT, lead WORKSHOPS and host DISCUSSIONS. We launched the first food & art festival in 2008 and continue to forge multi-disciplinary collaborations.
Food is an exciting, versatile, multi-sensory medium, grounded in everyday life and materials. We believe in its power to nourish radical creativity in ourselves and in others, and employ a range of tools at the intersection of food and art to encourage creative thinking and new experiences.
